NCP chief Sharad Pawar has asked party workers to be ready for another election in Maharashtra very soon.
“We have to be ready to face snap polls in Maharashtra,” he said at party meet at Alibaug in Maharashtra.
Refuting their earlier position to provide unconditional support to the BJP’s minority government headed by chief minister Devendra Fadnavis for sake of stable government in the state, the NCP supremo today said, “Having a stable government in Maharashtra isn’t NCP’s responsibility… was neutral during the trust vote. We did not vote for or against the government.”
No comments yet come from BJP or its estranged ally Shiv Sena who voted against the government in the trust vote after both the party failed to reach a deal.
