Apple iCloud Hacked and leaked private photos of Jennifer Lawrence and hundreds of other celebrities on Internet

After a massive hack attack on Apple’s iCloud nude and semi nude photos of many celebrities including Jennifer Lawrence,  Kate Upton were leaked overnight on 4Chan under anonymous account.  It is still unclear about how the photos were leaked but according to anonymous user of 4chan, images were taken from celebrities’ personal iCloud account.

iCloud is a service provided by Apple where one can share, synchronize photos, calender, settings and other data between Apple Devices like iPhone, iPad,  MacBook etc.

After this incident Jennifer Lawrence tweeted “It’s so weird and hard how people take your privacy away from you.”

Some celebrities refused to acknowledge these photos by saying them fake photos. Victoria Justice tweeted  “These so called nudes of me are FAKE people. Let me nip this in the bud right now. *pun intended*”. Whatever it is but every affected celebrities are in tension and angry with Apple and hackers.

Apple also has started investigating the incident.

“We take user privacy very seriously and are actively investigating this report,” said an Apple spokesperson to Recode.

Apart from Apple FBI also has started investigation from their end.
