In another severe bombing by Israel, two Gaza City high-rises along with many homes and shops were destroyed on Tuesday.
In its continuous fight with Hamas, Israel so far at least 2,133 Palestinians most of them are children and women, and wounded more than 11,000. The U.N. estimates says that over 17,000 homes have been destroyed, leaving 100,000 people homeless.
In this notorious escalation 68 Israeli people have been killed including four soldiers.
Since Saturday’s fighting Israel has been targeting high-rise buildings in Gaza. Already they have destroyed five towers and shopping complexes in Gaza.
Tuesday’s strikes left 15-story Basha Tower totally ruined, leaving 25 people wounded in the attack on the Italian Complex.
Tuesday’s operation also killed two people in Gaza City.
Meanwhile Egypt has urged Israel and Hamas to resume cease-fire and proposed for a new border deal for blockaded Gaza. Israel and Hamas have not responded to Egypt’s proposals yet.
