Situated in Eastern Kerala, Munnar is a small hill station near the Anaimudi Peak, the highest peak of Western Ghats. Surrounded by lush green tea and coffee plantations, Munnar is a pleasant hill station with an old colonial charm. With its aromatic fragrances, Munnar is home to many unique species of flora and fauna. Most of the terrain in Munnar is covered with forests and grasslands. Some of the trees founded in this region are teak, red sandalwood, rose wood and jungle jack. Munnar is also a treat for bird watchers, some rare species of birds are found here in abundance. Munnar, a beautiful, peaceful and tranquil hill station is a tourist paradise in God’ own Country.
