22 Jump Street Overtakes Dragon 2 at Box Office

Sony’s 22 Jump Street which released this weekend has overtaken How to Train Your Dragon 2” at US box office grossing $62 million in the opening weekend.

The action comedy featuring Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill, and Ice Cube – the movie revolves around the two officers when they go for undercover at a local college. Outperforming the predecessor “21 Jump Street” – which opened at only $36 million dollar, the latest flick has caught the big eyes this time.

The “Dragon 2” which opened at a slightly low $50 million is also surpassing its predecessor. Being the only animated film this summer, it has a huge potent to crack big this year.
