Kejriwal to meet Modi over Delhi power crisis

Aam Aadmi Party Chief and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejirwal said he will seek an appointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi soon to discuss the on-going power crisis in the state. AAP leader Manish Sisodia will accompany Kejriwal in the meeting with the PM.

Kejriwal to meet ModiThe blame games continue over the power cuts across Delhi as AAP launched a protest outside Union Minister Harsh Vardhan’s house on Tuesday.

Harsh Vardhan hit back at AAP by saying, “AAP leaders protested and agitated for 49 days rather than doing work for the people.”

The Congress also slammed AAP and NDA government over this issue.

“The AAP government did not make any summer action plan. The people of Delhi are bearing the brunt of that now. Statements by ministers like Piyush Goyal clearly indicate that they know nothing about Delhi,” Congress leader Haroon Yusuf said.

Meanwhile, the centre intervened and union Power Minister Piyush Goyal has set a 10-day deadline to repair the damaged transmission lines.

While speaking to the reporters Goyal blamed the previous UPA government for neglecting power industry and transmission modernisation. He said the existing power grids are weak and unable to take more load.

About Sprightly Spirit

“I dare do all that may become a man. Who dares more is none”. And all, may be. It may be the vigor. Or the spirit. Or the courage to avoid being “politically correct” or bent. And, ban all averse with immaculate overture of graciously fathomable words firm in views. Subtle. Justifying the undying conscience. Values. Knowledge. And, dares to stay true. True to own. True to the world. And, to the words. With a dream in eyes it exists. In you. In me. In all. The sprite that never shies away. The spirit that never dies!
