MP Congress chief slams Digvijaya Singh for praising Sushma Swaraj

A day after Digvijaya Singh praised senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj, the Congress party unit in MP has slammed him and accused him of conspiring against the party.

Madhya Pradesh Congress secretary Jagdish Yadav has said that Digvijaya Singh is conspiring against Congress to ensure win for Sushma Swaraj from Vidisha constituency.
“Digvijaya Singh wants to make Swaraj the prime minister. That is why, he fielded his brother Laxman Singh from Vidisha. He wants the BJP to form government at the Centre” he said in Bhopal.

“I have written about this to Sonia Gandhiji and I am also going to write to state president Arun Yadav. Digvijayaji has fielded his brother Laxman Singh to make Sushma Swaraj win. This sort of thing must be stopped,” congress leader Jagdish Yadav said.

On Monday Congress general secretary Digvijaya Singh has said that Sushma Swaraj would be a better Prime Minister than Narendra Modi.

“People who are not even supporters of the BJP would have accepted, like they accepted Atal Behari Vajpayee, the personality of Sushma Swaraj rather than the imposing persona of Mr. Narendra Modi,” Digvijaya said.
