The Shiv Sena continues its attack on BJP. This time the party has targeted NDA’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi for showing ‘disrespect’ to its senior leader LK Advani.
In the latest edition of its editorial ‘Saamna’, Shiv Sena criticised BJP’s ticket distribution policies for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls and how the party is sidelining Advani.
“Advani built the organisation and ensured that the party saw its glory days but the decision on his ticket/constituency was kept hanging till the end. In the end the party had to say it was upto him to contest from either seat,” Saamna editorial says.
“The Modi era may have begun in the BJP but it is not sunset for the Advani era in politics,” it added.
Sena also supported Advani’s demand for his nomination from Bhopal instead of Gandhinagar.
