Popular South Korean carmaker Hyundai has unveiled new compact sedan Xcent at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo on Tuesday.
The Hyundai Xcent is based on the platform of Grand i10 hatchback. The car will be available in both petrol and diesel variants. The Xcent is also replacing the Accent.
“The Xcent is a world-class car developed especially for the Indian market. It would offer several segment-first features like rear air-conditioning, but at very competitive prices,” said, BS Seo, MD and CEO, Hyundai Motor India.
The Xcent is set to give tough competition to Honda Amaze and Maruti Suzuki Dzire.
