Oscars 2014 Snub: Monster University Leaves Pixar Nom Less

Pixar Animation Studios’ much hyped Monster University went nom-less in the nomination list released yesterday. And, this has made Pixar Animation – a straight second time failure in earning nomination since the category was introduced in 2002. The last nomination was Cars 2 in 2011.

MU did not received much critical acclaims though it was a high-end success at the box-office grossing a whopping $744 million worldwide. Pixar has an excellent track record in this category for winning seven times for Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Wall-e, Up, Toy Story etc.
