The Andhra Pradesh Assembly was adjourned for the fifth consecutive day over Telengana issue.
The Speaker Nadendla Manohar suspended the assembly following the ruckus for an hour by the members from Seemandhra region and Telangana region.
While the Seemandhra legislators are protesting against the bifurcation of the state, the pro-Telengana MLAs are shouting slogans for creation of the new state.
The debate on the draft Andra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill-2013 has not yet could be taken up in the house.
“I have time and again been telling you to make use of the opportunity and take part in the debate. You can express your opinions and anguish in the debate,” Manohar was heard telling the MLAs.
“I have assured you that adequate time will be given to everyone to participate in the debate. If we waste House’s time like this, it will serve no purpose. Make use of the given opportunity,” he added.
