Seven-time Formula One champion Michael Schumacher is still critical after the brain surgery following a skiing accident in the French Alps on Sunday.
The legendary racing driver was taken to the Grenoble University Hospital Center in coma condition after his head hit on a rock.
The hospital statement says that the 44-yearold Germman “remains in a critical condition”.
“We cannot predict the future for Michael Schumacher. It’s too soon to talk about,” Chief anesthesiologist Jean-Francois Payen told reporters on Monday.
“Someone who had suffered this accident without a helmet would not have made it this far,” Payen added.
However on Tuesday doctors said that Schumacher is showing some responses to medicine and his situation is “more under control”.
“The situation is more under control than yesterday but we cannot say that he is out of danger,” Jean-Francois Payen informed.
