The Union Cabinet on Thursday approved the draft Telengana Bill and will send the bill for President Pranab Mukherjee’s approval.
In the bill cabinet proposes 10 districts of Andhra Pradesh to be included in the new state of Telengana and Hyderabad will be the common capital for both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for the next 10 years. The Telengana also will not get the two districts of Rayalaseema – Ananthapur and Kurnool.
Home Minister Sushil Kumar said that there will be one governor for both the states who will take care of law and order issues in the joint capital Hyderabad.
Government may bring the Bill in this winter session of parliament.
