Sahara Group Chairman feels that Securites and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) is acting like ‘sarkari gunda’.
On Friday Subrata Roy said, “This is a vengeance of a regulator of that stature to a corporate. Our request to the court will be to allow us to submit the papers to the nationalized banks like PNB directly. These banks have a system called trustee security.”
He told reporters that the way SEBI is dealing the issue in ‘very low level’ has causing enough trust deficit between Sahara and SEBI.
Subrata Roy also disputed SEBI’s claim of over-valued property.
The next hearing of the case is scheduled on December 11 in Supreme Court.
