India’s Shikhar Dhawan smashed 248 off just 150 balls on Monday against South Africa A team at the LC de Villiers Oval. Dhawan came short of 21 runs to score highest individual score in the List-A cricket.

Dhawan’s stupendous innings includes 30 fours and seven sixes. He reached his fifty in 31 balls, 100 in 86 balls and 200 in just 132 balls. When we thought he will break former England player Ali Brown’s record score of 268*, he was bowled out by Justy Theron.
Dhawan reached the landmark of 200 in 132 balls, and then clattered six fours and three sixes before he was bowled by Justy Theron for 248 in the 45th over – 21 runs short of beating of former England batsman Ali Brown’s score of 268* in List A cricket.
