Huawei launches world’s slimmest smartphone Ascend P6

Huawei has launched world’s thinnest smartphone Ascend P6 on Tuesday in London with retails price near about Rs. 33,000 ($600).

The Chinese networking giant Huawei chose London to unveil its Ascend P6, which is just 6.18mm thick — the June 18 launch date reflecting the dimensions.

The 6.18mm thick smartphone, Ascend P6 will be available in from July end.

Speaking on the occasion, Huawei CEO Richard Yu said, “Our theme for this product is elegance with an edge. We want to provide better products, more innovative products with better design.”

Ascend P6 o weighs 120gram, comes with 8 mega pixel rear camera and 5 Mega pixel front camera.

With Ascend P6, Huawei hopes to take on Apple and Samsung.
