Two rapists awarded 653 years jail sentence

Palm Ridge Magistrate Court has given 653 years jail term for two rapists on Tuesday.

The 35-year-old Mozambican Jozana Orlando Mathabele was sentenced to 366 years imprisonment and George Sithole, 35, was sentenced to 287 years’ in jail for robbing and raping more than 13 times.

“The modus operandi of the suspects was that they target households where vulnerable victims were staying, break into the house. . . steal valuables and later take turns raping their victims.” Police said.
