Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde express regrets over his ‘Hindu terror’ remark. He said he had no intention of linking terror with any religion.
Apparently making truce with BJP, Shinde said, “Since my statement created a controvery, I regret it. I had no intention to link terrorism with any religion. There is no basis for suggesting that terror could be linked with the organisations mentioned in my brief speech at Jaipur.”
According to reliable sources home minister had no other option but to give-in to BJP’s demand of apologizing on his controversial remarks during Congress gathering in Jaipur last month.
BJP earlier launched protest against Shinde and threatened to boycott him and disrupt Parliament during budget session if he did not apologise.
